Atari confirms release date and details for arcade racer NeoSprint

Atari and developer Headless Chicken have confirmed the release date for NeoSprint, representing the publisher’s first ‘Sprint’ title since 1987.
The trailer release confirmed June 27 as the arrival date for the first title since Championship Sprint, with the new edition set to feature modern visuals and a shift from the arcade racing game roots and 2D to 3D isometric tracks, with single-screen racing play frolics for up to eight players.
The game contains tracks that can be customized and depending on your preference, you can add jumps, ramps and many other items for added detail. Four theme settings are available for selection: forest, desert, winter, and city.
You can get competitive with the main Campaign Mode, with further challenges found in Obstacles Courses and Time Trials. As well as vying with friends or family to be first across the finish line, you can compete against up to eight AI opponents, for a twist on solo play.
In Grand Prix mode, you can build circuits from tracks previously created, browse and choose tracks created by other players or combine elements from both.
New addition to the Sprint racing game series
Developed by Costa Rica-based studio Headless Chicken in conjunction with Atari’s time-served art director John Kauderer, NeoSprint has been described as a “passion project” combining retro nostalgia and contemporary features. The new release appears set to be a fitting addition to the series, following on from the likes of Sprint 2, 4, 8, and One.
NeoSprint was initially presented as an early-access game on Atari VCS during its development stage with the production staff implementing feedback from the community to make subtle adjustments for the full release.
NeoSprint will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam, and Atari VCS on June 27 for $24.99.
Here is the official release date trailer.

Industry report cites deepfakes as second most common security concern

Deepfakes have been ranked as the second most frequent information security concern for businesses in the United Kingdom.
An industry report conducted by ISMS.online surveyed over 500 security professionals with nearly 32% of organizations experiencing problems with this growing threat over the last year.
Scammers are most likely to deploy deepfake content in business email compromise (BEC)-style attacks with artificial intelligence (AI) powered voice audio and video cloning used to deceive recipients into complying with the threat actors’ request, usually large volume fund transfers.
In a recent high-profile case, British engineering firm Arup confirmed it was the victim of a serious deepfake scam after one of its Hong Kong-based employees was misled into sending $25 million to fraudsters.
Other findings in the report found that 79% of businesses experienced an information security issue caused by a third-party company or supply chain partner, up 22% from the research gathered last year. Also, partner data was heavily impacted with 41% of respondents stating it was the most compromised information.
Luke Dash, CEO of ISMS, the compliance and information security specialists, shared his response on the growing risk of deepfakes.
“It is deeply concerning to see the number of organizations threatened by both deepfake and third-party vendor risks,” he said.
“To address these rising and more sophisticated threats, organizations must continue to build robust and effective information security foundations. However, it is encouraging to see businesses investing in securing their supply chains and increasing employee awareness and training,” added Dash.
In response to the ongoing challenge and increased sophistication of the cyber attacks, 47% of respondents to the survey have placed greater emphasis on staff training and education.
A strong majority agreed, despite its risks and role in deepfakes, AI will help to assist the information security process.
What are deepfakes?
Deepfakes use AI and machine learning (AI/ML) technologies to produce convincing and realistic videos, images, audio, and text showcasing events that never occurred. At times, people have used it innocently, such as when the Malaria Must Die campaign created a video featuring legendary soccer player David Beckham appearing to speak in nine different languages to launch a petition to end malaria.
In other cases, it is increasingly being used for electioneering purposes or to influence the political landscape like when London Mayor Sadiq Khan was targeted, and maliciously in pornographic content, with Taylor Swift previously impacted.

MultiVersus adds The Matrix and Friday the 13th villains to roster for May 28 release

After some time away, MutliVersus is back on the menu when May 28 arrives, and the roster has been revamped to add a little more spice to the fight. There have already been a couple of announced characters that’ll give you a few laughs – The Joker and Banana Guard – but WB Games has gone one step further and announced two more challengers.
These two new characters are from incredibly popular franchises, just like the rest of the selection – The Matrix and Friday the 13th.
Sadly, the pick from The Matrix isn’t Neo himself but instead, it is his arch-nemesis Agent Smith. His introduction came with the classic neck-crack, however, sadly there was no insight on what moves he has.

As for Friday the 13th, as if it could be anyone else other than Jason Voorhees himself. Again it was a very short look at the villain, but what you can see is that he will be utilizing his machete as a beat down tool.
This brief look is from the latest “Stars Collide. Pies Fly.” trailer for MultiVersus, where both new and returning fighters share a few pleasantries before showing off some of their skills. It culminates with Joker sitting on the Iron Throne (from Game of Thrones), introducing his two aforementioned cronies and cutting to the end screen before we are able to get a look at four other characters he is summoning to his aid.

With the two new additions, this will bring the total number of playable fighters to 25 which is a pretty solid number and will allow for a little more variety to that of when the initial beta launched.
Moreover, since it appeared like The Joker was bringing four more potential villains into the fight, this could bring the tally to a whopping 29, with likely more to come if the rumors are true.
While this pales in comparison to the likes of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, since this is the game’s full launch and updates on the horizon in the future, this number will definitely grow. Before you know it, there could be 50 Warner Bros. franchise brawlers facing off against each other, and you’ll be able to get practice in on each with the new PvE mode.

Smash Bros. creator doesn’t want to waste one second of your time

Masahiro Sakurai, the celebrated creator of Nintendo character Kirby as well as its Super Smash Bros. platform-fighting franchise, said he once vetoed the inclusion of Dolby Surround sound support in a 20-year-old game because of a loading screen requirement that he felt would inconvenience the user.
The game in question, Kirby Air Ride, was a kart-style racer that launched for Nintendo GameCube in 2003. Sakurai, speaking in a livestream with PlatinumGames co-founder Hideki Kamiya, mentioned this to illustrate how far he was willing to go to get video gamers to the action.
The two were discussing the 10-year anniversary of the Arcade Archives series of emulated video games which, per the series title, delivers games that launched on arcade cabinets to home console users. Sakurai said that Arcade Archives maker Hamster Corporation should shorten the time it takes to boot the games, to more properly deliver that arcade-style feeling of going machine-to-machine and getting into a game immediately.
“Rather than just tossing in a coin and getting into the game immediately, you must click an icon, wait for the logo, wait for the title, look at the instructions screen, wait until everything loads, and then you’re finally at the main screen, after which you can start playing,” Sakurai said, according to a translation.
Sakurai considers all of this such an abuse of the player’s attention that he threw out Dolby Surround from Kirby Air Ride because it added two seconds to the game’s boot screen. For the record, here’s what that looked like in 2003:

“I feel very sorry for making the user wait,” Sakurai said in the conversation with Kamiya. “If you take one second from each user, that means you’ll be taking 10,000 seconds from 10,000 people. The more this repeats over the years, the more time you will cause players to lose.”
It may sound obsessive-compulsive but coming from Sakurai, it’s perfectly fitting with his character as a designer revered by those who play his games. It’s also refreshing to hear a software designer — of any application — stand against extra layers of friction in the user experience.
Sakurai, 53, was the creative director behind 2018’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Nintendo Switch, a comprehensive, built-from-scratch adaptation that saw every character in the 25-year-old series (and more) return to the game on modern hardware.

Robust Influencer Support Triggers 700% Rise in BlockDAG’s Presale Attracting Dogecoin Whales Over Dogwifhat Price

Opportunities and challenges abound in the cryptosphere. A mysterious Dogecoin Whale transfer raised eyebrows in the crypto community, potentially triggering a sell signal for the coin, whereas Dogwifhat price prediction sails in more or less stable waters.
But what crypto influencers are raving about the most is BlockDAG. The coin has been seeing a massive surge in presale figures after influencers like Crypto Jogi unraveled its advanced technology and profit potential. Starting at $0.001 per coin in its batch 1 presale, BlockDAG’s powerful roadmap has fast-tracked the crypto’s goal to hit $1 per coin this year.

Mystery Behind Recent Dogecoin Whale Transfer
Observers across the crypto horizon recently noticed a massive Dogecoin whale transfer of 400,000,000 DOGE coins. The transaction, amounting to about $62 million, was made to Robinhood, a crypto platform currently combating legal action from the SEC. Such a transaction often triggers a sell signal, with traders oscillating their bets towards a downtrend.
This whale activity could potentially pull Dogecoin out of the “best meme coins to invest in” list. But DOGE’s price has displayed an impressive 100% growth since last year, managing to stay smoothly afloat despite rugged market volatility. Dogecoin enthusiasts continue to bet on a bullish run this year.

Dogwifhat Price Prediction: Surge or Decline?
For the most part, the Dogwifhat price prediction has been oscillating between $3 and $3.10 until a recent surge to $3.33. These patterns have left many wondering whether the token will surge in the coming days or sink further. Some technical indicators reveal bullish signals for the coins.
On the other hand, WIF’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) score reveals a neutral signal, with the sale and purchase of the coin being relatively balanced. The coin currently enjoys relative stability, with no signs of over-selling or over-buying.

Influencers Hint at BlockDAG’s 30,000x Fold ROI Potential

Those who participated in BlockDAG’s batch 1 presale have seen their investments surge 650% by the end of batch 12. The crypto is now in its 13th presale batch, trading at $0.008 per BDAG coin. One of the many forces behind BlockDAG’s roaring presale success is strong backing from popular crypto influencers. BlockDAG has raised over $28.5 million from the sale of over 9.2 billion BDAG coins.
YouTube influencer Crypto Jogi, a favorite of crypto enthusiasts across the globe rolled out an insightfully-packed video, heralding BlockDAG as the most advanced Layer 1 blockchain. Noting BlockDAG’s deployment of a cutting-edge proof-of-work algorithm, the influencer commends the crypto’s industry-leading speed, robust security, and advanced DeFi protocols.
He also discusses BlockDAG’s ability to make mining accessible to everyone through low-code/no-code systems. Highlighting BlockDAG’s powerful marketing strategies, community-building initiatives, and a knowledge-packed technical whitepaper, Crypto Jogi further uncovers BlockDAG’s ability to bring long-term sustainable profits for investors and developers.

BlockDAG’s comprehensive roadmap, on the other hand, details ambitious goals to become the most scalable, secure, and sustainable crypto platform. This roadmap unfolds meticulously across various stages. The launch phase focuses on deploying smart contracts, setting the initial value of the coin, and kickstarting ambitious marketing efforts.
The development phase focuses on conducting extensive market research, creating a profitable yet sustainable presale journey, and forging strategic partnerships. The Pre-Launch phase is all about securing investments and edging closer to the mainnet launch. The final phase involves concluding the presale, preparing for mining operations, and finalizing investment details. The detailed milestones in the roadmap highlight marketing initiatives and technological advancements designed to boost investor confidence and achieve a neat 30,000-fold ROI by 2030.
A Final Word
With Dogecoin and Dogwifhat oscillating between “slow growth” and “no growth” scenarios, it’s time for investors to shift their focus to something more promising. BlockDAG’s groundbreaking innovations and solid influencer endorsements paint an ultra-successful presale story.
Crypto saw an impressive boost in investors right after influencers like Crypto Jogi detailed the platform’s powerful capabilities and profit potential. With early investors already seeing a price surge of 700% in less than four months, BlockDAG inches closer to unlocking a 30,000x ROI potential by 2030!
