Call of Duty’s next crossover will be with the WWE, Activision confirms

Call of Duty has been almost Fortnite-esque lately with the number and type of crossovers the game has regularly delivered. What was usually a quarterly thing promoting a movie became a near-monthly update with Modern Warfare III’s 2023 launch, also going much wider in the pop-culture spectrum.
That brings us to the latest collab, teased on Friday by the franchise’s official X account. It’s the WWE, whose crossover will coincide with the Season 5 start date, also announced on Friday. That’ll be July 24.

That’s all that was shown. Fans are speculating as to what kind of skins we’ll be seeing, John Cena just announced he will retire next year after a farewell tour for the fans, he seems like a timely — and popular — choice at least.
Call of Duty has brought celebrities themselves to the game, not just costumes inspired by them for their operators. But what this really looks like, who knows just yet; my guess is there will be all sorts of weapon skins invoking signature and finishing moves, too.
The teaser also caught fans off guard as most recently, unconfirmed rumors sourced from a datamine leak said Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine would be in the game, very believable considering the antiheroes’ movie premieres July 26. But since this WWE thing is July 24, that puts the superhero collab in doubt — especially as the WWE will probably use it to hype its WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view airing Aug. 3.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III launched in November and is currently in its fourth season as a live service game. The next Call of Duty coming to Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X, is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, whose multiplayer beta is due to begin in late August. The full game is due to launch Oct. 25 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

Could Notcoin’s Recent Dip Be a Buying Opportunity, or Should You Consider $WAI Token for High Upside Potential Investment?

While Notcoin (NOT) has defied the overall downtrend in the cryptocurrency market, surging 45% in the past week, it experienced a 4.29% dip today.
However, some investors see this as a buying opportunity. Meanwhile, the WienerAI meme coin presale nears its end, having already raised over $7 million.
This project aims to revolutionize the AI sector and aspires to be a major player in future advancements, offering a potential alternative to struggling meme coins in the market.
Notcoin (NOT) price analysis and price prediction
Notcoin (NOT) experienced a significant surge in price, followed by a continuation of its prior market behavior.
The hourly chart suggests a potential consolidation phase, albeit with a slight downward trajectory and diminishing price peaks.

Yesterday, $NOT breached a critical support level, indicating bearish sentiment. This translates to a predominance of downward price movements within shorter timeframes.
Historically, $NOT has exhibited a propensity for swift transitions from bearish to bullish trends. While recent indications suggest a possible peak, market sentiment possesses a high degree of volatility.
From a technical standpoint, some analysts may contend that $NOT retains a positive outlook as long as the price remains between $0.015 and $0.014. However, recent price movements contradict this assertion.
Given the current market signals, shorting $NOT appears to be a strategically sound decision, notwithstanding the possibility of a short-term price increase. The ongoing struggles of Bitcoin further reinforce this negative outlook.
$NOT may encounter resistance around $0.01598 to $0.017359 before potentially declining to a range of $0.014601 to $0.013222. However, predictions for Notcoin’s price offer a more optimistic outlook under specific circumstances.

A significant increase in investor interest or price could trigger a bullish trend. In this scenario, Notcoin’s price is predicted to rise by 27.49%, reaching $0.01985 by next week.
Furthermore, by next month, it is estimated to climb an additional 227.79%, reaching $0.048435.
Investors are currently faced with a crucial decision: whether to hold onto their NOT coin in anticipation of a price surge or to capitalize on a new opportunity presented by the $WAI token.
This emerging project is nearing the end of its presale phase and is scheduled to launch in the coming weeks. Given the recent decline in many meme coins, $WAI is increasingly seen as an attractive alternative.
WienerAI: An AI-powered investment opportunity
WienerAI, a new project with a humorous name, injects a dose of fun into the often-serious world of AI. However, its ambitions are quite serious, as evidenced by its impressive presale that’s already surpassed $7.3 million, reflecting strong investor interest.
At its core lies an AI trading bot that promises zero-fee transactions and aims to outsmart malicious bots through MEV prevention. This, coupled with a user-friendly interface and seamless swaps, positions WienerAI as a potentially attractive platform for both experienced and novice traders.

WienerAI boasts a strong community of over 15,000 social media followers. Their well-defined tokenomics plan outlines a capped supply to prevent dilution and allocates tokens for presale, staking, liquidity, and marketing.
WienerAI positions itself as a breakthrough in AI-powered crypto trading. By capitalizing on the growing interest in AI, they aim to significantly impact how AI is integrated with cryptocurrency markets.
With its blend of innovative technology and meme appeal, WienerAI offers a unique investment opportunity for those seeking a piece of the future. Secure your spot in the $WAI token presale by visiting wienerdog.ai.
Conclusion
Investors in Notcoin (NOT) confront a challenging decision. While technical analysis indicates a potential short-term decline, the prospect of a bullish reversal persists.
In contrast, WienerAI presents a unique opportunity with its amalgamation of meme coins and AI technology. Its limited pre-sale and emphasis on mitigating early selling pressure may appeal to investors seeking substantial returns.
For those looking to diversify their portfolios with promising new projects, Notcoin’s resilience and WienerAI’s innovative approach offer exciting opportunities.

Yo dawg, Dota 2 heard you like fighting games, so they put a free one in the game

The makers of Dota 2 just up and put a full scale fighting game into the main game, at no extra charge! (Because Dota 2 is already free-to-play, but who’s counting?)

Called Sleet Fighter, it joined the game with the July 9 update, as part of the larger Crownfall current season. Five Dota characters are the combatants, each with a full moveset and alternate costumes. Sleet Fighter supports both single-player and multiplayer matches, the latter both locally and online.
That’s rather impressive for what could have been left as a one-off, minigame curiosity. Valve developers made no mention of Sleet Fighter when they announced Crownfall Act III at the end of June, making this almost an Easter egg except for the fact it’s so fully developed. In fact, one has to wonder why they’d spend all this time on it, only to take it back once Crownfall ends in October. Or, maybe they won’t.
How to find and play Sleet Fighter in Dota 2
To play Sleet Fighter, players should head to The Frosts of Icewrack (hence the fighting game’s namesake) and complete the first story tile on the Overworld map. That opens the Sleet FIghter 2: Immortal Combat tile, which takes you into the Severed Head pub where the game awaits. That’s all you have to do.
Here’s a YouTube video showing all of that start-to-finish, with another six minutes of pure gameplay.

The five heroes players may choose for Sleet Fighter include Tusk, Bristleback, Shendelzare, Dawnbreaker, and Marci. Their movesets are available in the game’s options menu; Dot Esports has posted all of them.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows apology not good enough, Japanese historical group tells Ubisoft

The Assassin’s Creed Shadows appropriated battle-flag controversy will not die down. Although Ubisoft apologized ro a Japanese historical group for using it, images of the flag will remain in a digital art book, and the group now says it’s not happy with just an apology here.
To recap, Ubisoft apologized on July 8, about a week it was discovered that the flag of a Japanese military re-enactment group, Sekigahara Teppo-tai (or Sekigahara Rifle Corps), was in the game without their knowledge or permission. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is set in feudal Japan, roughly befo
Ubisoft said it was sorry and the flag would be pulled from the game, but not a hardcover art book being sold in a $279 collector’s edition packed with physical premiums.
This is presumably because that book has already been printed. Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches Nov. 12. That’s not good enough for Sekigahara Teppo-tai.

Translated, that is: “The Sekigahara Teppo-tai members discussed the matter again. We have asked Ubisoft to remove the image from the Collector’s Edition artbook. I’m not sure if this will be possible, but I’ve contacted Ubisoft through their support.”
The poster went on to note that the flag references leaders of The Battle of Sekigahara, which occurred about 21 years after the setting for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. IGN has images of the flag’s use in the artbook.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows criticized from its first reveal
The complaint is an extension of ongoing criticism of Assassin’s Creed Shadows as culturally insensitive — a topic many Japanese take very seriously. The game stars an African samurai who seems to be based on a real-life African who served a warlord around that time. It also stars an entirely fictitious female ninja.
A petition demanding Ubisoft cancel the game outright now has 83,000 signatures, even though there is no chance of Ubisoft spiking this AAA game four months before release, and especially for this kind of criticism. About 60,000 of those signatures have come in the last week.
Here, though, it’s unquestionably a bad look for Ubisoft, as it appears that western artists went Googling for Japanese battle flags, found one, and had no idea what they were working with, because it was only necessary to get one that looked Japanese.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will launch on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. It will also be available day one to Ubisoft+ subscribers.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard nudity confirmed — but how much will we see?

After months of speculation, Dragon Age: The Veilguard has seemingly confirmed that it will have at least some nudity. This is important because, well, there’s been naked people in the three games preceding this one.
Game Informer journalist Wesley LeBlanc said he discovered topless nudity “first-hand” in the Dragon Age: The Veilguard character creator when customizing a female Rook character, “[a]nd that’s when Veilguard game director Corrine Busche smiled, likely knowing full well that nudity in the character creator means nudity elsewhere in the game,” he wrote.
Busche then, he said, went on to reiterate that “this is a mature RPG,” seemingly suggesting that there’s more to come in the nudity department. When LeBlanc asked Busche whether we can expect bottom nudity in this game, the game director said that this is something she wanted players to discover for themselves, which we’re taking to mean that there might be more surprises in store.
As LeBlanc points out, nudity has been present in previous Bioware games, but the difference is, it’s “almost always” been implied nudity thanks to some clever placing of shadows, body parts, and pieces of scenery.
Will Dragon Age: The Veilguard include sex?
We already know that The Veilguard will have gender-free romance options, and in an interview with IGN, Busche revealed that we can expect some amorous scenes too — although exactly how frisky some characters are is set to vary.
“Some of them are more spicy than others,” she said. “Just like real life, our companions have such diverse personalities. Some of them are more physical, more aggressive, and some of them are more [.. ] we have a gentleman necromancer, for instance, that is more intimate and sensual.”
There’s set to be seven companions in total: Harding, Davrin, Bellara, Taash, Lucanis, Emmrich, and Neve. So, needless to say, the player will be getting busy. Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be released sometime in 2024.
